Great Sky is a beautifully decorated, custom built, two story log home that sleeps up to four (4) guests and offers the following:
- Luxuriously appointed master bedroom suite in the loft, with a king size bed, 350 count sheets, vaulted ceiling, with exceptional views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, 27 Inch Flat Screen Satellite TV, with Network Channels, DVD Player, and full bath with jetted tub
- First floor bedroom with a king size bed, 350 count sheets, stereo, 19 Inch Flat Screen Satellite TV with Network Channels, DVD Player, and full bath
- Comfy, living area with wood burning fireplace, Exposed Beam Ceilings, Huge Windows with Stunning Views of the Surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains, 62 Inch Flat Screen Satellite TV with network channels, DVD Player, Movies, Books, and Telephone
- Central heat and air, washer and dryer
- Free Hi-Speed Internet
- Wrap around screened porch, with Ping Pong, Foosball, hammock, gas grill, dining table and chairs
- Expansive deck with large hot tub and comfortable Adirondack chairs overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains
- Spa quality soap, hair dryers and towels
The fully equipped kitchen includes:
- Refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, dishes, glassware, pots, pans, cutlery, & utensils
- Also included are private label coffee beans, coffee grinder, & coffee maker
The only items you’ll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.
- Nightly rates are $155 per night plus tax for up to four (4) guests
- Weekly rates are $930 plus tax for up to four (4) guests
- Cleaning fee $75, plus tax
- Two night minimum stay on non-holidays
- Three night minimum stay for New Years, Memorial Day, Month of July, Labor Day, and Christmas (sorry no check-ins on Christmas Day)
- Great Sky requires a one week minimum stay for the Month of October
- Four night minimum stay for Thanksgiving (sorry no check-ins on Thanksgiving Day)
Please, due to allergies, no Cats at Great Sky. Doggies are welcome!
Because Sliding Rock Cabins® is truly pet friendly, we provide the following amenities for your dogs: Large pet bed, food and water bowls, toys, all natural treats, and beach towels.

A fifty percent (50%) deposit is required when making reservations. The balance will be due thirty (30) days prior to arrival date. Deposits will be returned for cancellations made more than thirty (30) days to arrival date, minus a $40 cancellation fee, plus tax. No refund offered for cancellations made thirty (30) days or less to arrival date.
