The cabin known as Hawthorne has a very special place in Jerri and my hearts. It was our very first introduction to the beauty of the North Georgia Mountains. The owners Ed & Ellen allowed us to stay for a snowy weekend, over ten years ago, and we enjoyed the tranquility of the river, the comfort of the cabin so much, we immediately went back to Atlanta and sold everything and moved to Ellijay to start our new life.

Hawthorne is a beautifully decorated, two bedroom, two bath and cozy loft, hand built log cabin that sleeps up to five (5) guests with the following amenities:

        Two queen size bedrooms and two baths, one bath featuring a romantic jetted tub, on the main level

      Cozy loft with a sleeper sofa

       Comfy living area with wood burning fireplace, Cable TV, DVD Player

       Free Wireless Internet

       Central heat and air and washer/dryer

        Board games, books, and telephone

        Covered porch with comfortable chairs

        Large flat yard with stone fireplace beside lovely Mountain Town Creek

       Propane Grill and Fire-pit for outdoor roasting

        Spa quality bath essentials; soaps, hand lotions, lip balm, hair dryer, and towels

The fully equipped kitchen includes:

Refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee beans, coffee grinder, and coffee maker

Dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans

The only items you'll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.

Rates for this Pet Friendly Cabin Rental North Georgia are $145 per night plus tax for up to four (4) guests, each additional guest above four (4), age of one (1) year or older, $15 per night plus tax
Weekly rates for this Pet Friendly Cabin Rental North Georgia are $870 plus tax for up to four (4) guests, each additional guest above four (4), age of one (1) year or older, $90 per week plus tax
Cleaning fee of $65, plus tax
Two night minimum stay on non-holidays
Three night minimum stay for New Years, Memorial Day, 04th of July, Labor Day, Month of October, and Christmas (sorry no check-in on Christmas Day)
Four night minimum stay for Thanksgiving (sorry no check-in Thanksgiving Day)

Pets Always Stay Free! There are no size or weight limits or pet deposits!

Because Sliding Rock Cabins® is truly pet friendly, we provide the following amenities for your pets: Large pet bed, food and water bowls, toys, all natural treats, and beach towels.

A fifty percent (50%) deposit is required when making reservations. The balance will be due twenty-one (21) days prior to arrival date. Deposits will be returned for cancellations made more than twenty-one (21) days to arrival date, minus a $30 cancellation fee, plus tax. No refund offered for cancellations made twenty-one (21) days or less to arrival date.
